What if I want to be christian but don't want to go all out???

This is a rare question but an important one. there is not much I can say to make anyone happy. but to those who has this question in there mind I would invite you to answer these question's
- why do you want to become a Christian in the first place?
- what is holding you back?
- what does 'being a Christian' personally mean to you?
- what are your current thoughts on Jesus and the bible?
these questions may be hard to answer or they may be easy. but what I would really tell you to do. is to find the root of these thoughts, you can't have a tree with out a root, so I would urge you to dig deep to the heart of the problem. but if you have done this and cannot seem to find peace then I would tell you to consider praying, in Jeremiah 29:12-13 it says 'Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.' the Lord hears your prayers and if you ask him.
Now I do not know anything about what you are going through but I know that God loves you and the thing he wants the most is to know you! much more then you want him to!!! he has known you ever since you where in your mothers womb. in Jeremiah 1:5 it says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart." he knew you and still does, and I know he cries for you. and wants to spend time with you! he knows all the struggles in your heart, he knows what you want to ask him. and he knows your Hearts deepest and darkest secrets.
The last thing I want to get to is the bible. if you are not a christian and have tried reading the bible and haven't understood much of it, do not make conclusions straight away. in 1 corinthians 2:14 is says this... "The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit." know wow this is a big verse and will probably be hard to understand so let me shorten it for you... I believe it is talking about a few things but I'm just going to say one of them. If you have not became a Christian and received the Holy Spirit then you cannot understand the words of the Lord and many will call it foolishness. but those who have accepted Jesus and received the gift of the Holy Spirit then they will understand the scripture's better. so do not feel bad about not understanding the bible as much as you would like. For Christians when you reactive the Holy Spirit the holy spirt will open your understanding.
So I urge you to consider what I have said, and answer my questions. If you decide to become a Christian and you have decided to move past your fears and take a step of faith then I would recommend the post how to become a christian. But if you have a family member or friend who are already a christian then I would definitely talk to them. For I can tell you becoming a Christian is not an easy step to make, but I can promise over and over again it's worth it!!!
